Over the past few decades Tony Robinson has emerged as Britain’s foremost face of popular history, the creator of a worldwide comedy icon, and an award winning writer of children’s books and television.

Tony presented twenty seasons of Channel 4’s archaeology series “Time Team”, and played Baldrick in “Blackadder”. He wrote the BBC’s “Maid Marian and Her Merry Men” in which he played the Sheriff of Nottingham, made two series of “The Worst Jobs In History”, three series of “Walking Through History”, and an acclaimed documentary about the elderly entitled “Me and My Mum”.

He has written thirty children’s books, and he has twice won the Blue Peter Factual Book Award. He has written several books for adults including his autobiography “No Cunning Plan”. He recorded the audio version of 40 Terry Pratchett novels, and in 2010 gave the BBC1 Dimbleby lecture on assisted dying on Terry’s behalf.

In recent years he has made ‘Tony Robinson’s Coast To Coast’, ‘Britain’s Great Cathedrals’, ‘Walking The Thames’, ‘Egyptian Tomb Hunting’, and ‘Around The World By Train’ all for Channel 5, ‘Britain’s Ancient Tracks’, ‘Hidden Britain By Drone’, and ‘The Museum of Us’ for Channel 4, and ‘Tony Robinson’s VE Day’ for Discovery.
